Like 2017 was for Davido, it seems like 2018 is shaping up to be Olamide’s best year yet.

Following a string of solid singles, all propelled by his brilliant 2018 opener, “Science Student“, the rapper just landed yet another banger: “Kana” featuring Wizkid.

Following the iconic “Omo To Shan” and the exceptional “Confam Ni“, the Mut4y-produced “Kana” marks the third collaboration between Olamide and Wizkid — confirming that we made a huge oversight by not including the pair in our list of the best collaborators in Nigerian music.

While both superstars deliver on the smooth, mid-tempo love song — their chemistry still very much intact — the MVP is definitely Wizkid, who delivers a hook so instantly infectious, it’s hard to imagine “Kana” not becoming a massive hit.

When Olamide first teased the collaboration, he said Wizkid had “blessed some beats for [him]“, hinting that “Kana” might not be the only track we get from both stars.

We certainly hope that’s the case, because we can never have too much of a great thing.
